Dolly Parton Australian tour
COUNTRY music superstar Dolly Parton will return to Australia for a tour this November – and Adelaide is on her agenda.
In her first tour of Australian in almost 30 years, Parton will begin her visit in Perth on November 8 before heading to Adelaide, Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The two-and-a-half hour show will feature new sets, costumes and music from her forthcoming album Better Day to be released later this year.
Parton, whose career spans four-and-a-half decades, is one of the most successful female country music artists, with 25 number one singles and 41 top 10 country albums.
The 65-year-old `Queen of Country Music’ – who has thrilled fans with hits such as 9 To 5, Here You Come Again, Jolene, and I Will Always Love You - has written more than 4000 songs.
She has also won seven Grammy, 10 Country Music Association, five Academy of Country Music and three American Music awards and is one of only five female artists to win the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year Award.
